Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for GridHired products operated by AdAlchemy Digital Marketing LLC. It supplements our Terms of Service. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer or other law are not limited by this policy.
Deleting your GridHired account does not itself cancel, reverse, or refund completed charges.
Account deletion
Account deletion is separate from product cancellation or refund rights. Deleting a personal account does not automatically cancel a company Grid subscription, sponsor booking, or Candidate Founding Member purchase.
A. Candidate Founding Membership
Candidate Founding Member membership is a one-time payment (currently AED 25 by default) for a stated access period (currently 12 months). It has no automatic renewal. A permanent Founding Member badge is recognition only and does not mean permanent paid membership or service access.
After activation, membership fees are ordinarily non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error or charged twice, contact us and we can review the transaction. Rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
A self-service cancellation flow for this one-time membership is not provided because access does not renew automatically.
B. Standard Grid — monthly and annual subscriptions
Standard Grid subscriptions are recurring. An owner or administrator may cancel renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Your listing and related service generally continue until that period ends, subject to our Terms.
Except where required by applicable law, we do not provide prorated refunds merely because you have unused time remaining in the billing period.
C. Founding Company Grid — one-time first year
Where offered and confirmed in checkout, Founding Company Grid access for the first Founding Grid year is collected as a one-time payment when payment is required, or activated without payment when the purchase flow shows no charge. It has no automatic renewal.
After activation, Founding Company Grid fees are ordinarily non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where GridHired confirms a duplicate or erroneous charge. A separate self-service cancellation flow is not provided because access does not renew automatically from this one-time charge.
Before Founding Grid access ends, an eligible company may start an explicit renewal of the full Grid rectangle at then-current Standard Grid pricing disclosed in the renewal flow. That renewal is separate from the one-time Founding first-year charge.
D. General Grid Launch Promotion — one-time first year
Where offered and confirmed in checkout, General Grid Launch Promotion access is collected as a one-time payment for the stated promotional year. It has no automatic renewal.
After activation, promotional fees are ordinarily non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where GridHired confirms a duplicate or erroneous charge.
Future explicit renewal at then-current Standard Grid pricing may be offered where the product supports it. That renewal is separate from the one-time promotional charge.
E. Previous legacy — Stage 2 free 1×1 promotional tile
The following applies where a company acquired its Grid presence under the prior Stage 2 launch allocation system. It does not describe current new-customer acquisition.
The Stage 2 promotional founding-company offer may provide an eligible free 1×1 Grid tile for a limited promotional term when available. No payment or payment card is required. There is no refund concept for a free entitlement. The promotional term expires according to the offer terms, and the free tile does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
F. Previous legacy — Stage 2 and Stage 3 paid founding-company offers
The following applies where a company acquired its Grid presence under the prior Stage 2 or Stage 3 launch allocation system. It does not describe current new-customer acquisition.
Paid founding-company promotional subscriptions are subject to the price, term, and renewal disclosures shown at checkout. Cancelling renewal stops future billing according to the subscription lifecycle. Service generally remains available through the end of the paid period.
Except where required by applicable law, there is no prorated refund merely for unused time. Consuming a promotional allocation or receiving a Founding Company badge does not reset merely because a subscription is later cancelled.
G. Grid expansions
Expansion pricing and timing are shown before you confirm. A pending future expansion may be cancellable before it becomes effective where the product UI permits it. An expansion that has already taken effect or been charged is ordinarily non-refundable. We do not promise prorated refunds for expansions unless the checkout or product flow expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires a remedy.
H. Sponsor bookings
Sponsor bookings reserve fixed inventory for a selected placement window. A pre-payment hold may be released or expire if checkout is not completed. Once payment is completed, a sponsor booking is ordinarily non-cancellable and non-refundable, except where GridHired cannot provide the purchased placement or applicable law requires a remedy.
Operational pause or removal of sponsor content for policy violations does not automatically create a refund entitlement. Rescheduling is not offered unless a future product flow explicitly provides it.
I. Duplicate or erroneous charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or more than once, contact us at support@gridhired.com. GridHired can review apparent duplicate or erroneous charges. We do not promise automatic refunds without review.
J. Payment processor
Stripe processes payments on our behalf. Refund and cancellation rights are determined by GridHired policy and applicable law, not merely by Stripe's technical capabilities.
