To ensure clients receive requested treatments and follow-up recommendations according to the spa’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies. Key Responsibilities The duties of Spa Therapist is executed satisfactorily when: * Provides spa treatments according to Kempinski the Spa treatment menu, standards and outlined protocols. * Retains proper working knowledge of the process, benefit and outcome of all treatments and products in the spa. * References and adjusts treatments according to the guest’s health assessment. * Delivers special, individualized and unique service to guests in the Spa. * Up sells and recommends in a thoughtful way—treatments, retail and homecare. * Begins and end treatments on time. * Confidently handles and rectifies guest queries or small complaints. * Ensures guests comfort and a genuine, welcoming environment for all guests. * Ensures a proper handover is completed in the guest journey as per the documented standard; following up on treatment experience and acting on any discrepancies. * Maintains the setup, hygiene and cleanliness of treatment rooms and treatment equipment. * Maintains complete discretion and confidentially in all communications with guests. * Actions other positions’ responsibilities within the spa as required. * Reports all accidents and guest incidents to the Spa Manager in a swift and professional manner. * Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
