Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Manager to own the gaming portfolio of a leading IT distributor in Dubai, covering high-end gaming laptops and desktops. You will manage vendor relationships, drive channel growth, and ensure the right products are available at the right price and margin for our reseller, retailer, system integrator, and e-tailer partners. This is a commercial role that sits between vendors, sales, marketing, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the product portfolio, range planning, and lifecycle for gaming PC and laptop brands
* Track market trends, new GPU/CPU launches, competitor ranges, and gamer preferences in the UAE/GCC
* Decide which SKUs to introduce, push, or phase out, based on demand and profitability
* Manage day-to-day relationships with brand partners (OEMs and component vendors)
* Negotiate pricing, allocations, rebates, margin structures, and marketing development funds (MDF)
* Coordinate product launches, allocations, and vendor business reviews
* Register and manage deals, promotions, and vendor programme targets
* Set and monitor pricing strategy to protect margins while staying competitiveSupport the sales team with product knowledge, competitive positioning, and pricing guidance
* Prepare product training, sales tools, spec comparisons, and quotes for key deals, including bulk and tender quotes for e-sports arenas, gaming cafés, and corporate accounts
* Plan and run promotions, campaigns, and channel activations with vendors and the marketing team
* Monitor sales, margin, stock turns, and market share by brand and product line
Requirements
Experience and education
* 4–7 years in product management, category management, or vendor management within IT distribution, consumer electronics, or PC/gaming
* Proven experience with gaming hardware, high-end laptops, or PCs
* Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
