Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join our team in Rixos Al Mairid at Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to hygiene standards. * Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances * Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas, following established procedures and schedules * Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate supervisor * Assist in the proper storage and organization of kitchen utensils, linens, and other supplies * Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs * Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks * Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines * Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures * Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory Qualifications * Proficiency in operating various kitchen and laundry equipment * Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures * Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for kitchen and laundry equipment * Excellent time management and multitasking abilities * Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards * Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Good communication and teamwork skills * Food safety certification preferred * Previous experience in kitchen or laundry operations, particularly in a hospitality or healthcare setting, is a plus * Familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations is beneficial Additional Information * Competitive salary and service charge. * Accommodation and meals provided. * Health insurance and visa sponsorship. * Career growth opportunities in a luxury hospitality brand.
