General Overview:
We are supporting our client in their search for an Emirati IT Officer to join their team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional looking to build or further develop their career within a professional corporate environment while gaining exposure to a broad range of technology and IT operations.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on IT experience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to support day-to-day technology requirements while working closely with users, internal teams, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day IT support and resolve hardware, software, system, and user-related technical issues.
* Troubleshoot technical problems and ensure timely resolution of IT support requests.
* Support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software.
* Assist with network connectivity, user access, systems, and general IT infrastructure requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of IT assets, systems, technical issues, and support activities.
* Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
* Support system updates, backups, security practices, and general IT maintenance.
* Assist with the implementation and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and internal standards.
* Provide guidance to users on IT systems, applications, and technology best practices.
* Support IT projects, system improvements, and other technology-related initiatives as required.
Key Requirements:
* Emirati with FamiIy Book.
* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Relevant experience in IT support, systems, infrastructure, networking, or general IT operations.
* Good understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and technical troubleshooting.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide timely technical support.
* Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
