The Role We are hiring taste. We want someone with a trained eye for luxury to guide our design team. Together you'll create gift boxes that look premium, feel right in the hand and stand out on the shelf. A florist knows which paper suits which flower. An interior designer knows which finish suits which wall. You know which colour, texture and detail suit which fragrance. What you'll do * Set the look of each gift box and range: colour, material, texture, finish and detailing * Guide our designers from mood board to final artwork, and review every design before approval * Specify the details that make a box feel luxurious, such as foil, embossing, soft-touch coatings, textured papers, closures, inserts and metal accents * Match each box to the fragrance, the price tier and the occasion: Ramadan, Eid, National Day, weddings and corporate gifting * Review supplier samples and print proofs, and reject anything that's off in colour, finish or fit * Bring fresh ideas from GCC and international luxury packaging What we're looking for * A portfolio of luxury packaging, styling or design work you have shaped * 3–5 years in luxury packaging, art direction or styling; experience in fragrance, cosmetics or jewelry is a strong plus * A fine sense of color and material, and the judgement to know when to stop * Working knowledge of print and packaging finishes * A sharp eye for the smallest details * An understanding of GCC luxury taste and gifting traditions * Comfortable reviewing artwork in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop * English required; Arabic is a plus
