About this role
We're partnering with a one of our key clients in Abu Dhabi to find an experienced Programme Manager to lead a major ERP implementation. It's a high-profile role, ideal for someone who has taken ERP programmes from initial concept right through to go-live and enjoys seeing them deliver results.
The role
You'll take ownership of the full ERP programme: shaping the vision, building the roadmap and guiding delivery through design, build, testing, data migration, cutover and post-go-live support. As the key link between the business and its technology partners, you'll keep the programme on track, within budget and focused on delivering real operational benefits.
Responsibilities
* Leading the programme from business case and requirements through to go-live and beyond
* Setting up governance, plans, budgets and risk management
* Bringing together stakeholders across operations, finance, supply chain, procurement and IT
* Managing vendors and systems integrators, holding them to agreed scope, quality and timescales
* Driving process change and supporting teams as they adopt new ways of working
* Keeping senior management and the programme board updated on progress and key decisions
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science or similar
* 10 years+ experience in project/programme management
* PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or a similar qualification would be an advantage
* A strong track record of delivering ERP implementations end to end
* Manufacturing ERP experience is essential, ideally SAP (S/4HANA or ECC) or IFS
* A good understanding of manufacturing processes such as production planning, MRP, stock control and supply chain
* Excellent stakeholder skills, with the ability to engage confidently with operational teams and senior leadership alike
* Organised, commercially minded and composed under pressure
