About The Job
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Demi Chef de Partie – Saudi Cuisine to support the Chef de Partie in the preparation and production of high-quality Saudi dishes. The ideal candidate should have good culinary skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to food safety and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Chef de Partie with daily kitchen preparation and production.
* Prepare and cook Saudi dishes according to standard recipes and instructions.
* Complete mise en place and ensure ingredients are ready for service.
* Maintain consistent quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
* Assist with the preparation of traditional Saudi dishes and ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned workstation.
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
* Properly store ingredients and prepared products according to FIFO procedures.
* Assist with stock rotation and minimize food waste.
* Support the Chef de Partie during busy service periods.
* Maintain and handle kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
* Work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Perform other duties assigned by the Chef de Partie or Kitchen Management.
Qualifications:
* Culinary Arts or related qualification is preferred.
* 1–3 years of culinary experience is preferred.
* Basic to good knowledge of Saudi cuisine and cooking techniques.
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and kitchen procedures.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
