Role Description The Cake Decorator is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and decorating cakes that reflect Fiorito’s premium and refined brand standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and baking cakes, creating decorative elements such as icings, fondant work, and intricate designs, and ensuring each cake meets quality, taste, and visual presentation requirements. The role involves collaborating with the team to customize cakes for personal and corporate clients, following design briefs and client preferences. The Cake Decorator will also assist in packaging and presentation guidelines, maintain digital records of designs, and coordinate with customer service and production teams to meet deadlines and order specifications. Qualifications Strong bakery and baking skills, with experience in producing high-quality cakes and related baked goods. Proficiency in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and modern design styles. Experience working with cookies and other complementary bakery items as part of premium gifting collections. Solid customer service skills, with the ability to understand client preferences and support a positive client experience. Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong sense of aesthetics aligned with luxury brand standards. Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and meet production schedules and deadlines. Prior experience in a bakery, patisserie, or cake studio is highly beneficial. Basic digital skills for receiving orders, sharing design concepts, and documenting finished products.
