TMC Middle East is looking for a Back Office Operations Subject Matter Expert to join a leading financial institution in Doha, Qatar. 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Doha, Qatar 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲: Full-time 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲: Onsite 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 - Own end-to-end back-office domains including payments, trade finance, treasury settlements, and reconciliations, designing improved workflows and driving straight-through processing via RPA and automation - Represent Operations in core banking migration and digital transformation projects, authoring BRDs, supporting UAT, and coordinating with IT and vendors - Ensure adherence to QCB regulations, AML/KYC requirements, AAOIFI standards for Islamic products, and internal control frameworks including maker-checker governance - Define and track KPIs and SLAs, and develop and maintain SOPs, process manuals, and desk procedures - Coach operations staff and serve as the senior escalation point for complex exceptions and cross-functional issues 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 - 8–12+ years in banking operations, with at least 3 years in a process lead, SME, or process improvement capacity - Hands-on experience with a major core banking platform such as Temenos T24, Oracle Flexcube, Finacle, iMAL, or Path Solutions ETHIX - Working knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards including MT/MX and ISO 20022 - Ability to produce process maps (Visio, BPMN) and formal business analysis artifacts including BRDs and UAT plans - Islamic or GCC banking background and relevant certifications (CIPA, Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, CAMS) are a strong advantage This role is strictly 𝗢𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 in Doha.
