Key Tasks * Execute plans and processes to implement the AFR Pricing Strategy. * Respond to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner. * Ensure the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs. * Ensure RFQ development, particularly for high-priority RFQs. Provide detailed guidance and conduct launch calls for critical RFQs. * Deliver day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding, assist in the development of tenders, and ensure timely submission of all relevant documents. * Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to network queries. * Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and airlines, and participate in commercial negotiations. * Prepare carrier performance reports and conduct performance reviews. * Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes, securing cost-effective and competitive pricing. Negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting service specifications and transit time targets. * Stay informed about recent developments in new solutions, services, trade lanes, and traffic developments. * Provide support, guidance, and direction to less experienced or new team members. * Analyze and resolve day-to-day operational issues and implement best practices for AFR pricing to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Management Responsibility * Individual contributor who may manage up to two employees. * May direct the work of lower-level professionals or manage processes and programs. * Coach, support, and review the work of lower-level professionals. Qualifications & Key Requirements Education * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification and/or relevant professional experience. Experience * More than 4 years of relevant experience.
